Darko Dozet was born in December 7th 1976 in Novi Sad where he graduated at Graphic Arts School, photography department. In 1996 he started working in daily newspaper 'Dnevnik' and in December 1998 he became a press photographer of the National News Agency Tanjug. He has worked for the world's most respectable news agencies, especially for Associated Press, and his photos have been published by almost all leading newspapers and magazines worldwide. He has been taking photos in all branches of photography and his most successful ones are from waterpolo, valleyball, football, basketball, theatre performances, protests, as well as 78 days long bombing of Yugoslavia. Numerous books, catalogues and monographs have been illustrated with his photographs. He has been member of Yugoslav Association of Journalists since 1998 and, at the age of 16, he joined Photo, Cinema and Video Association of Vojvodina. Dozet has exhibited both in our country and abroad and has been awarded many prizes for his work. Presently, within his sphere of interest, there are mainly Orthodox churches and monasteries.
