Outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić underlined at a meeting with President of the UN Security Council Jérôme Bonnafont that Belgrade remains consistent in its position that dialogue is the only way to achieve sustainable solutions in Kosovo and Metohija.

At a meeting ahead of the UN Security Council session dedicated to the work of UNMIK, Đurić emphasised that for the dialogue to continue, it is necessary for Priština to fulfil its obligations under the Brussels Agreement, primarily to enable the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
He stated that regular sessions dedicated to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the work of UNMIK are of immeasurable importance for examining the problems on the ground and informing the international public about developments in the province.
On this occasion, Minister Đurić reiterated that Serbia remains clearly committed to building peace and stability, both in Kosovo and Metohija and in the entire region.
