During a visit to the 51st international book fair, Kojadinovic pointed out that today Serbia is practically the centre of the world owing to this event, which is becoming bigger, richer and more important year in year out.
The fair is an opportunity for us to feel like equal citizens of the world, the Culture Minister said and voiced satisfaction with the fact that the United States of America, its publishers and writers, are the fair's guests of honour this year.
According to Kojadinovic, Serbia has returned among countries which have big book fairs, like those in Frankfurt, Moscow, Paris, Thessalonica and Copenhagen, at which it has made many friends.
For us it is important to continue with quality cooperation with neighbouring countries because after all the war and unrest around us and within us, it is time for peace to return to these lands, Kojadinovic said.
