The officials discussed the reforms implemented by the government of Serbia, the economic situation in the region and relations between the two countries which are at the highest level.
Vucic said that the relations between Serbia and Hungary are full of confidence, adding that the project of fast railway Belgrade-Budapest, which is crucial for both countries, will further strengthen these relations.
We are committed to this project and our aim is to have a feasibility study completed by June next year so that the railway could be built by June 2017, the Prime Minister said.
Orban congratulated Vucic on the courage to implement fiscal consolidation measures, and stressed that this is a great chance for Serbia to get back on the right path, the path of successful countries.
It is good to have successful neighbours, the Prime Minister of Hungary concluded.
The officials said that the project of building high-speed railway Belgrade-Budapest is an economically very important project for both countries.
It also has historical significance as regional integration is not just a diplomatic phrase, it means taking concrete steps to connect the countries of the region, which this project provides.
Vucic and Orban also discussed cooperation in the field of agriculture, greater participation of Hungarian companies on the Serbian market, as well as police cooperation between the two countries.
