Improving economic cooperation with Albania

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met today with Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama to discuss bilateral cooperation, infrastructure projects and European integration.
Vucic and Rama estimated that there is potential for development of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and culture.
There is particular interest in the field of strengthening cooperation in the field of increasing the volume of trade exchange, they agreed at the meeting, which was attended by the ministers of interior, trade, economy, education, transport and energy.
It is expected that the mechanism of China-CEEC will contribute to joint infrastructure projects, particularly the project of modernisation of the railways Belgrade-Podgorica and Belgrade-Bar.
During the meeting they stressed the need for joint appearance before European funds in connection with joint projects proposed in Berlin in August this year.
Rama pointed out to the possibility of creating a partnership between Serbia and Albania, which would send an important message about regional cooperation.
