Appearing on Television Pink last night, Vucic said that the government believes that economic growth may reach 0.9%, noting that this figure could reach 1% if the country had not been hit by drought.
He also announced the decision that no early parliamentary elections will take place, assessing that calling the elections at this point would be irresponsible.
This decision was made because we are ahead of a lot of work before the end of the year and early next year, which would be partially stopped in the case of holding early parliamentary elections.
Vucic said he believes that the platform for Chapter 35, which deals with the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, will be more favourable for Serbia and different from the draft that appeared in public, and that there will be no amendments proposed by Germany, Great Britain and Croatia.
The Prime Minister recalled that only two states have recognised Kosovo as a state since he is head of government, and stressed that he was never confronted with proposals that Serbia must recognise Kosovo's independence.
He also stressed that he cannot head the Serbian government without the support of Germany, in which he has a lot of confidence, but also added that it is impossible for him to head a government that would impose sanctions on Russia.
In this regard, the Prime Minister announced a Serbian delegation visit to Moscow on 27 October, which will be the largest such visit so far.
Vucic also said that next week in Madrid he will participate in a meeting of the European People's Party, which will be attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and many other officials and presidents of political parties.
