Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen about the continuation of bilateral cooperation and informed him about progress in the process of EU accession of Serbia.
Samuelsen underlined that Denmark supports the European prospects of Serbia, and assessed that the bilateral relations of the two countries are very good and that, through new investments and further economic and cultural cooperation, they will develop and improve.
Brnabic expressed her gratitude for the support and emphasised that European integration is Serbia's strategic priority and that reforms are taken seriously and responsibly.
She said that Serbia is making additional efforts to improve regional cooperation.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia is committed to normalising relations with Pristina, but that the continuation of the dialogue and reaching a compromise solution will be possible only when Pristina annuls its decision to introduce additional taxes on goods from Serbia, which violates the CEFTA agreement.
The two officials agreed that the cooperation in the field of defence to date has been excellent, and expressed the hope that the economic cooperation will be intensified.
