Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today in Senta that the government, through the "My First Salary" programme, is investing two billion dinars in 10,000 young people to gain their first work experience and find permanent employment.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today in Senta that the government, through the "My First Salary" programme, is investing two billion dinars in 10,000 young people to gain their first work experience and find permanent employment.
At the presentation of the mentioned project in the factory "Biospringer", Brnabic announced that, if that programme is successful, it will be only the beginning when it comes to such kind of encouragement of youth employment.
She pointed out that this is a chance for 10,000 young people to gain their first work experience, and expressed the expectation that after nine months, which is covered by the state with RSD 20,000 for those with high school and RSD 24,000 for those with a university degree, they will remain in those companies.
According to her, employers will be able to add compensation to that amount to the young people they hire.
From today until 25 September, employers can apply, completely electronically, because no paperwork or going to the Business Registers Agency is required, and from 1 to 15 October, young people may apply, also electronically in just a few minutes, the Prime Minister specified.
Also, as she added, young people can access "My First Salary" portal as of today and get acquainted with the positions for which they will be able to apply.
President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez announced that the registration of employers for the project and explained that it means that young people who have finished high school or university will get their first job, the necessary work experience and the first salary.
According to him, it is important that as many companies as possible apply for the programme by 25 September, so that the application of candidates under the age of 30 who have completed either high school or university will start on 1 October.
