Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with International Special Envoy for the Implementation of EU Sanctions David O'Sullivan, whose work focuses on the engagement in dialogue with third countries and cooperation in joint actions aimed at preventing the circumvention of sanctions.

Brnabic said during the talks that the Republic of Serbia did not impose sanctions on the Russian Federation, but that our country is by no means and will not be a platform for circumventing the sanctions imposed by the European Union.
When it comes to the war in Ukraine, Serbia is not value-neutral and we took a clear stance regarding the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity, Brnabic added.
The Prime Minister underlined that Serbia is a credible and reliable partner.
O'Sullivan and the Prime Minister exchanged opinions on the concrete steps that should be implemented with third countries in order to prevent the circumvention of sanctions and thanked for the open and constructive attitude and readiness for further cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, O'Sullivan expressed his condolences to the Prime Minister over the last week's tragic events that shook Serbia.
The meeting was also attended by Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret.
