Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia Anke Konrad, with whom he discussed current security issues and cooperation between the two countries in areas of common interest.

Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia Anke Konrad, with whom he discussed current security issues and cooperation between the two countries in areas of common interest.
Vučević emphasised that the partnership with Germany is extremely important and that Serbia is determined to further improve bilateral cooperation.
According to him, Germany is Serbia's largest foreign trade partner, and there is great potential and scope for shaping that cooperation primarily in economic aspects and increasing German investments, which have a significant share in the Serbian economy.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the new government's strategic commitment, despite all the challenges, is the continuation of a responsible policy of peace and stability in the region and commitment to respect for international law and the achievement of the strategic goal, which is entry into the European Union.
Vučević pointed out that the stability of the Western Balkans is crucial and expressed deep concern about the position of the Serbian people and the current situation in the southern Serbian province.
Ambassador Konrad expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and congratulated the Prime Minister on his election to the new position, where she emphasised the determination of the Federal Republic of Germany to improve overall cooperation.
