President Aleksandar Vučić attended today the presentation of the new Chinese high-speed train at the Technical Passenger Station Zemun, and on that occasion said that Serbia has revived railways and that he hopes that our country will soon start producing high-speed trains itself.

High-speed train “Soko” from Belgrade to Subotica from 1 December

Vučić announced that on December 1 at the latest, the high-speed train travel on the Belgrade-Subotica line, and that it will take an hour and 10 minutes to get from the center of the capital to Subotica.
The train presented today has a capacity of 250 seats, is 103 meters long, and can reach a speed of up to 200 km per hour.
The Chinese railway company China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC) designed and manufactured the electric train “Soko” to the specifications of the railways in Serbia and Hungary.
The train consists of four cars, two motor cars and two trailers and is fully compliant with the TSI system.
