At the panel "Accession perspectives of the Western Balkans and their importance for the future of Europe." Are we in a period of stagnation or building a new momentum?", within the framework of the International Conference "Peace and Sustainable Development", Vučević assessed that the name of the panel is precisely the main issue for all the countries of the Western Balkans.
The essence of that question lies in the fact that people are fed up with expectations, he said noting that it is time for the Western Balkans to be encouraged and for Europe to give a clear signal.
The Prime Minister also pointed out that Serbia fully supports the European path of the Western Balkans, and reminded that our country is active at different levels when it comes to regional cooperation, as well as cooperation with the EU.
In this sense, Vučević pointed to the Berlin Process, Brdo-Brijuni Process, the "Open Balkans" Initiative, which, he said, showed that the countries in the region are aware of the necessary cooperation at the regional level.
For Serbia, the most difficult topic is related to the province of Kosovo and Metohija, judging that through dialogue and the experience of the EU institutions, we could be closer to reconciliation on the ground.
