Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić had several bilateral meetings today on the sidelines of the Salzburg Forum.
Dačić spoke with Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic Matúš Šutaj Eštok about the further improvement of cooperation between the two countries in the field of internal affairs.
The interlocutors assessed that police cooperation between the two countries is at an intensive level and that there is room for improvement.
At the meeting, the good political and economic cooperation between the two countries was noted and the belief was expressed that such good relations will be strongly followed by the cooperation of the two ministries of the interior.
Dačić also met with the Minister of the Interior of Slovenia Boštjan Poklukar.
It was concluded that the communication between the two ministries and the exchange of information in the fight against irregular migration, with a special emphasis on migrants arriving from countries with which Serbia has a visa-free regime, is extremely important.
Today, on the sidelines of the Salzburg Forum, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke with Minister of the Interior of Austria Gerhard Karner.
The interlocutors assessed that the police cooperation of the two countries is excellent, especially in the field of fighting organized crime, drug trafficking and smuggling of migrants.
