The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications said today that the export of products and services in the information and telecommunication technology (ICT) sector in the first seven months of 2024 increased by as much as 20.29% compared to the same period of the previous, record-setting year 2023.

The statement notes that the export of ICT services continued to register constant and stable growth, reaching €2,306,000,000 in January-July, up from €1,917,000,000 in the same period of 2023.
From 2012 to the record-setting 2023, the sector’s export income surged by a factor of 10, reaching €3.44 billion last year. Based on the existing results, it is expected that by the end of this year, the surplus will reach as much as €4 billion.
