The Ministry of Education, on behalf of the Government, accepted the request to define the adjustment of salaries of employees at primary and secondary schools, as well as employees at student residencies, according to the average salary in Serbia.
The Ministry also agreed to the request to increase the coefficient by 5% in the salary amount for March 2025 and an additional 5% in the salary amount for October 2025 for all employees with a Level 7 qualification and for educators at kindergartens and schools with Level 6, 5, 4 and 3 qualifications.
In 2025, the Ministry will facilitate the reduction of administrative work through the electronic class register (esDnevnik).
The request to start negotiations in 2025 to amend the Decree on the coefficients for the calculation and payment of salaries of public service employees was accepted and to review coefficient increases for positions with coefficients ranging from 9.65 to 17.32.
