First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali expounded the Bill amending the Law on the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2024 and four other bills in the purview of the Ministry of Finance at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today.
Budget revenues in the first eight months of the year exceeded the plan by RSD 132.5 billion, which we are now seeking to allocate where it is needed most, alongside additional investments to accelerate growth, Mali said.
The revision projects overall revenues at RSD 2,173.3 billion, which is an increase of 6.5% compared to the original budget for 2024, he said.
The First Deputy Prime Minister noted that the goal is to achieve a gross domestic product of €100 billion in 2027.
