The Ministry of Tourism and Youth announced that Serbia showcased its tourism potential at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, one of the most significant events in the global tourism industry.
With the support of the Ministry, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia’s stand presented a rich array of Serbia’s offerings as a tourist destination, with special attention being paid to the promotion of significant projects, such as Expo 2027, which will put Belgrade and Serbia at the centre of global attention.
The stand was visited by Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memić and State Secretary Enes Buhić.
Statistical data show that in the period from January to September 2024, 30,416 tourists from Great Britain visited Serbia, representing an increase of 22% compared to the previous year. British tourists registered a total of 84,378 overnight stays, marking a 23% rise, with an average stay of 2.8 days.
