Prime Minister Miloš Vučević met with UK Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the Western Balkans Stuart Peach today to discuss advancing bilateral relations and the situation in the region and the world.
The Prime Minister underlined that Serbia is committed to a continued strengthening of partnership and cooperation with the United Kingdom and stressed the importance of good economic relations.
Vučević pointed out the importance of deepening cooperation and working on joint projects in the areas of infrastructure and energy, which represent the future and directly affect the country’s economic growth and stability.
The Prime Minister emphasised that regional cooperation is one of Serbia’s foreign policy priorities, on which it works intensively, adding that preserving peace and stability is the country’s main priority.
The interlocutors assessed that the two countries have the potential to develop further cooperation in the fields of international trade, technology, infrastructure and other areas of mutual interest.
Peach assessed that cooperation between the two countries is good, that the United Kingdom is a partner in projects in which it is engaged and stressed the importance of the projects for the entire region.
