During the talks, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, the interlocutors highlighted Serbia’s leadership position in the development of these technologies, as well as the possibilities for their application in developing countries.
Special attention was paid to the development of language models, as well as the potential for the artificial intelligence development model that Serbia has been building since 2019 to be applied in a broader international context.
Begović previously met with Emmanuel LeRoux, General Manager, Global Head Big Data and Security division at Eviden, a leading European company in the field of supercomputers.
An agreement was reached at the meeting on the formation of Eviden’s development team, which will soon start operating in Serbia, as well as the establishment of closer cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which will enable Serbian companies to be involved in the development of software solutions for the use of a new supercomputer.
The potential of applying artificial intelligence in the public sector, especially in healthcare and e-government, was particularly highlighted.
