At yesterday’s meeting with Lammy, Đurić emphasised that Serbia attaches great importance to further deepening relations and improving cooperation with the UK, in the spirit of the tradition of bilateral relations and the long common history of the two countries.
The Minister welcomed the increased presence of British businesspeople and the continuous inflow of investments, as well as the fact that our trade exchange, especially in the domain of exchange of goods and services, is recording a trend of stable growth.
Speaking about the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, the head of Serbian diplomacy pointed out that due to a series of unilateral and repressive moves by the Albin Kurti regime, there has been a gross violation of the basic human and collective rights of Serbs, and a threat to the very survival of our people in the province.
Speaking about Serbia’s EU integration, he emphasised that full membership in the EU is our strategic priority and that we are proving our firm commitment with a serious approach to implementing all reforms by the end of 2026, constant economic progress, advocacy for European values, and contribution to peace, stability, and prosperity of the entire continent.
