The meeting, which was held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Munich with the support of the Serbian government, aims to strategically and institutionally round off the policy of remembrance, cultural identity and preservation of the historical truth of the Serbian people.
Milićević underlined that when a state stands behind such a project, it sends a message that not only does it remember its past, but that it is also ready to defend it and pass it on to future generations.
Milićević also said that our compatriots abroad are an inseparable part of the national fabric, that they preserve not only the language and customs, but also a strong sense of belonging, as well as that the diaspora is a reliable ally in this mission, not as an observer, but as an equal partner in preserving identity and truth.
The project “Serbian National Interests – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” is envisaged as an integral platform bringing together scientific, educational, cultural and diplomatic work with the aim of creating lasting mechanisms for the protection and promotion of Serbian historical and cultural heritage.
