Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović met today with KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani to discuss the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
The interlocutors noted that the security situation in the province remains unstable and sensitive.
Emphasising that Serbs in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija do not feel safe, Mojsilović requested from the KFOR Commander that the international security forces in the province carry out their mandate impartially, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military-Technical Agreement, and provide a secure environment and freedom of movement for all, notably for the Serb community.
