US supports Serbian government’s reform, pro-Europe policies

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus said today that the US administration supports the Serbian government’s macroeconomic policy as well as its reform and pro-European policies.

Following a meeting with US Department of Treasury Assistant Secretary Randy Quarles, Labus said that the talks covered possibilities for further US investment in Serbia.
He welcomed the behaviour of US investors in Serbia so far and he expressed the conviction that bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to develop.
According to Labus, the meeting with Quarles was a continuation of talks they had in Washington a month ago.
Labus thanked the US government on the assistance it has provided so far as well as on the help during the talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
