Government makes decision to establish AI Institute

RSD 800 million were set aside for the realisation of this programme, intended for protection and care of forests, afforestation, construction and reconstruction of forest roads, production of forest seeds and planting material, education and promotion of research and development and other activities of general interest for forestry.
The Decree on determining the Annual Programme of Measures for the Implementation of the Breeding Programme for 2021 was adopted.
Today, the Decree on the classification and procedure of improvement of facilities for the collection, processing and destruction of by-products of animal origin and obtained products was adopted.
The decree prescribes the classification of facilities in which by-products of animal origin are traded in the appropriate class, whose assessment and classification will be carried out by a commission formed by the competent ministry, according to EU standards.
The government also made a decision on the establishment of the Research and Development Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia.
The institute will contribute to the development of innovation and entrepreneurship, in order to create top staff, future leaders of the Serbian economy, as well as to attract investments in the economy of artificial intelligence in Serbia.
The government adopted the Action Plan for the period from 2021 to 2023 for the implementation of the Employment Strategy in the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2021 to 2026, which envisages specific activities and deadlines for the realisation of the goals and measures of the strategy.
