The Serbian government adopted today the Bill on the Register of Administrative Procedures.
The establishment of this register will enable more efficient work of the public administration, considering that uniformity in actions will be ensured, and citizens and businessmen will have an insight into the documentation, forms, amounts of fees and charges at all times.
The government passed the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Contributions for Compulsory Social Insurance, as well as the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Deadlines for Settlement of Monetary Obligations in Commercial Transactions.
The adopted Bill on Ratification of the Agreement on Investment Promotion between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America additionally encourages economic cooperation between the two countries by expanding the offer of financial instruments of the International Development Corporation (DFC) for development of the Serbian economy.
The Republic of Serbia is the first country in the region, and among the first in the world, to conclude such an agreement.
The expansion of the offer of DFC financial instruments in Serbia is a clear indicator to foreign investors that the Republic of Serbia continues to be the main driver of economic development in the region and a safe country for both foreign and domestic investments.
The government also adopted the Bill on Precious Metal Items.
The government made a decision to send a donation of 40,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine to North Macedonia, in order to help the citizens of that country in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
