On that occasion, Cvetkovic pointed out that the Government of Serbia is committed to reforming state-owned companies and increasing the benefits of state ownership for the country and citizens.
The Minister stated that one of the goals of the Law on the Management of Companies Owned by the Republic of Serbia is the strengthening, corporatisation and better management of state-owned companies with the intention of achieving better business results.
Cvetkovic announced that adequate implementation of this law will begin within the stipulated period, which is September of this year.
The Minister added that foreign direct investments are stable, recalling that last year they amounted to €4.5 billion.
