Minister without portfolio in charge of international economic cooperation and the social position of the church in the country and abroad Nenad Popović met in Minsk with Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus Artur Karpovich.
Popović, who also co-chairs the Serbia-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Karpovich analysed the state of economic cooperation between Serbia and Belarus to date and agreed to intensify it in the future, considering all realistic possibilities.
The ministers concurred that the focus should be placed on collaboration in the fields of new technologies, digitalisation, machinery production, tools and machine tools, agriculture, food production and tourism.
Popović stated that it was agreed that the next session of the Serbia-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation would be held in June 2025.
