Cooperation with UAE in field of clean energy

The officials discussed joint projects in the field of innovations in the food industry, artificial intelligence, and new UAE investments in Serbian companies operating in the clean energy sector.
The interlocutors also discussed the possibility of launching a joint programme in the field of robotics, which would tap into Serbia’s exceptional engineering potential.
Popović also visited Masdar City, a futuristic city in Abu Dhabi powered by 100% renewable energy, where he met with experts to discuss the implementation of these solutions in Serbia.
The Minister is on a visit to the UAE as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, where he is presenting Serbia’s results in the field of sustainable development and green technologies on behalf of the Serbian government.
