Minister of Justice Maja Popović spoke today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Belgrade Juan José Sanz Aparicio about the activities carried out by the Ministry of Justice in the field of justice reform.
A special topic of discussion was the activities that our colleagues from Spain, through projects financed by the European Union, are implementing in Serbia, which relate to strengthening the fight against organised crime, strengthening financial investigations, as well as implementing other important activities envisaged in the action plans for chapters 23 and 24.
The Ambassador of Spain announced on this occasion that an official visit of the Spanish Minister of Justice to Serbia is expected in June of this year, which will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the existing and further support of Spain to our country in achieving its goals within the framework of the European integration process.
Popović voiced the readiness and desire to continue cooperation and its further deepening.
