The Serbian government announced that at today's session, on the proposal of Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, Mihailo Jovanović was appointed acting director of the Office for Information Technologies and e-Government.
In the previous composition of the Serbian government, Jovanović was the Minister of Information and Telecommunications, and from 2017 to December 2022, he was already the head of the Office for Information Technologies and e-Government.
He became a PhD in economics in 2012 and defended his second doctoral thesis in the field of mathematics and computer science in 2022 at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade.
Jovanović is responsible for many digitization projects in Serbia and work on the intensive development of services and infrastructure of electronic administration, digital transformation of public administration, progress of the digital economy, but also the recognisability and citizens’ trust in e-Government.
