Prime Minister Miloš Vučević spoke today with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Jumanğarin about the improvement of cooperation between the two countries and future joint projects.
Vučević pointed to the excellent cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture and military-technical and military-economic cooperation, adding that there is room for further improvement in these areas as well.
He said that at today's meeting, numerous topics were opened with the aim of further developing cooperation, the implementation of which will be worked on until the meeting of the presidents of the two countries - Aleksandar Vučić and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which should take place soon.
Vučević expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan for his support for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for Kazakhstan's restrained attitude during the vote on the Resolution on Srebrenica and the understanding that this act does not bring anything good in this area.
The Prime Minister expressed his belief that further work within the joint Intergovernmental Serbian-Kazakhstan Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, which held a meeting today in Belgrade, will be fruitful and that the two countries will continue to preserve, nurture and improve excellent bilateral relations.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan expressed his belief that this commission will give a new impetus to the trade and economic cooperation of the two countries, as well as that Serbia and Kazakhstan will continue their excellent military cooperation and cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Jumanğarin announced that Kazakhstan will participate in the Expo 2027 specialised exhibition in Belgrade, stating that this country has excellent experience when it comes to this exhibition, considering that Astana hosted a specialised exhibition in 2017.
Accordingly, Prime Minister Vučević expressed his gratitude to Jumanğarin for confirming his presence, stating that Kazakhstan's experience in organising this exhibition will be valuable for Serbia.
