Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović held a working meeting with representatives of Serbian Entrepreneurs – a network of successful entrepreneurs of Serbian descent in Canada – with the aim of strengthening cooperation between Serbia and the Canadian start-up community.

Speaking to journalists, Begović stated that she presented to our entrepreneurs how Serbia sees itself in the future, in the context of innovations and new technologies.
We presented a major project that the government supported – the construction of the BIO4 campus – the first strategically built campus focusing on the topics of biotechnology, biomedicine, bioinformatics with AI, and biodiversity, she explained.
This meeting represents an important step in connecting the Serbian diaspora in Canada with innovative initiatives in Serbia, with an emphasis on the entrepreneurial experience and resources that the members of Serbian Entrepreneurs provide through their network, according to the statement by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.
