Minister of European Integration Tanja Miščević and Director and Commissioner for Southeastern and Eastern Europe at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Volker Oel today signed the minutes of negotiations on development cooperation between the two governments, with associated annexes, successfully concluding the regular negotiations on development cooperation programmes.

Miščević emphasised that today’s meeting resulted in a concrete agreement to focus support in the coming period on the green economic transition.
Oel noted that Serbia is part of the European family and added that Germany is committed to further supporting Serbia’s EU membership.
He also said that the Federal Government of Germany has pledged to provide the Government of Serbia with a new total amount of €208.4 million for the period 2025-2026, which includes €188 million for financial cooperation projects and €20.4 million for technical cooperation projects.
Representatives of the two governments agreed today on a number of new programmes focused on three main areas, namely climate, energy and just transition; peaceful and inclusive societies; and sustainable economic development, education and employment.
