Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović stated today that Serbia, in its capacity as CEFTA chair, convened a special meeting of the CEFTA Joint Committee for 9 October, with the adoption of the agreed CEFTA decisions on the agenda.
After yesterday’s ministerial meeting as part of the Berlin Process, Momirović said that this special meeting will be held in Belgrade and that Serbia expects the CEFTA Agreement to be unblocked.
This would also end the illegal blockade in trade in goods from central Serbia to the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, thereby somewhat alleviating the difficult position of the Serbs in the province, Momirović concluded.
