Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović and Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov today signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of green energy between the two ministries.

Also, two gas supply agreements were signed by public natural gas company Srbijagas and Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR, which provide Serbia with additional gas supply security during the coming winter, as it will be able to count on one million cubic meters per day from Azerbaijan from 1 November to 31 March.
Đedović Handanović emphasised that the signed memorandum extends energy cooperation to the field of green energy.
This document, as she pointed out, creates ample opportunities for cooperation in the energy transition process, including joint investments in green energy, application of new green technologies, carbon capture and storage technologies, e-mobility, energy storage and other areas.
