Vučević pointed out that the United States is an important strategic and economic partner of Serbia, noting that US companies have invested in various sectors in the past period, including IT, energy and manufacturing.
Discussing the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Prime Minister emphasised that increased and additional investments in capital projects and sustainable energy development are an important strategic goal and he invited US companies to invest more in projects in these areas.
Fernandez assessed that Serbia has a responsible economic policy in place, adding that investments in the energy sector, as well as measures and strategies aimed at implementing the Green Agenda, represent the foundation for the country’s sustainable economic policy in the future.
Vučević invited US companies and institutions to participate in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, which represents a significant opportunity for the advancement of various sectors of the economy.
He conveyed his appreciation for the United States’ continuous support for Serbia in the process of European integration, as well as the stability and prosperity of the Western Balkan region, also expressing his belief that relations between the two countries will continue to develop in the future, through more intensive economic cooperation and political dialogue.
