Đurić pointed out that Serbia has excellent long-term cooperation with UNDP, as one of the most important programmes of the UN.
The head of Serbian diplomacy noted that UNDP in Serbia contributed significantly to the development of our country and the improvement of the work of its institutions.
According to him, the Government of the Republic of Serbia pays special attention to the development of various programs, such as biotechnology, creating a good environment for startups and advanced technologies.
When it comes to sustainable development, Đurić said that Serbia attaches great importance to the implementation of Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.
The head of Serbian diplomacy reminded that Serbia is not only a recipient, but also a provider of development and humanitarian aid, pointing out that our country also cooperates with UNDP in this area.
Bearing in mind the successful partnership cooperation between Serbia and the UNDP Office in Belgrade, he pointed out that we expect a proposal for a new five-year cooperation programme between UNDP and Serbia.
Živković congratulated Serbia on its economic agenda and achieved growth, pointing out that Serbia is one of the few countries, especially in the region, that independently invests in its development.
The interlocutors agreed that there is potential to further improve the existing cooperation in many fields, according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
