The Ministry of Health stated today that Serbia was elected a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board at the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, which is being held in Copenhagen on 29-31 October.

The Ministry of Health stated today that Serbia was elected a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board at the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, which is being held in Copenhagen on 29-31 October.
Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar pointed out that Serbia received a majority of votes from the 53 Member States of the WHO European Region.
The WHO Executive Board for Europe has eight members elected for a period of three years. The main function of the Executive Board is to implement the decisions and policies of the World Health Assembly, advise and facilitate its work.
