Prime Minister Miloš Vučević underlined today after a meeting with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico that Serbia and Slovakia are sincere friends and reliable partners.
Vučević assessed that the visit of Prime Minister Robert Fico is a signal that the two countries continue to improve bilateral relations, economic ties and cooperation in numerous areas.
He said that Serbia greatly appreciates Slovakia's commitment to respecting international law, as well as the strong support which that country provides to the economic path of our country.
After the meeting of the prime ministers of the two countries, a meeting of the Serbian government delegation with Slovak officials was held.
During the day, Fico also spoke with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, after which a meeting of the delegations of the two countries was held.
A round table "Serbia - Slovakia" was also held today in the Palace of Serbia, in the presence of President Vučić and Prime Minister Fico, in which businessmen from 100 Serbian and Slovak companies participated.
The Prime Minister of Slovakia, accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Avala before leaving Serbia.
Prime Minister Miloš Vučević saw off at Nikola Tesla Airport this evening Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and the delegation of that country, who were on a one-day official visit to Serbia.
