Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić spoke today in Moscow with Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev about bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged opinions on the situation in the Western Balkans region, as well as on the most important international issues.
Đurić informed Kosachev about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the state of the Belgrade-Priština dialogue, reiterating our gratitude for Russia's consistent and principled stance on the issue of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to him, the Serbian people, especially in Kosovo and Metohija, feel the support of the Russian Federation, which they appreciate and will continue to appreciate.
Đurić emphasised that the issue of Kosovo and Metohija is of the highest national and state interest, and that Russian support, both bilaterally and in international forums, is very valuable to us.
