Minister of Science, Innovation and Technological Development Jelena Begović emphasised the importance of the IPA 2018 project “Increased Innovation Capacity and Technological Readiness of SMEs”, through which 110 domestic innovative companies were supported with €20 million.

Begović pointed out that, thanks to this project, the completion of which was marked today by the Innovation Fund, companies have developed 160 new products and services, which is important for strengthening the economy and developing innovations that enable Serbia to position itself as a regional centre.
Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret stated that the EU invested €15 million in this project, with the Government of Serbia contributing the remaining €5 million.
