Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic chaired today a meeting of the Council of the Serbian government’s Coordinating body for process of accession to the European Union, which was held via video conference.
Joksimovic pointed to a need of additional speeding up of reform processes from the European integration process, better coordination and political impetus towards implementing activities and obligations from all negotiation chapters.
The Minister discussed with members of the Council a possible implementation of a new methodology, its cluster approach and how it can reflect on the progress achieved so far and the evaluation of open chapters from certain clusters.
As pointed out, it is necessary that the deadlines for implementation of the accompanying legal acts and by laws be in line with the dynamics of realisation of the National Programme, which should contain precise plans for the harmonisation of legislative framework with the EU acquis and the fulfilment of conditions for its practical implementation.
