Prime Minister Ana Brnabic held a meeting today in Dubai with the President of Interpol, Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, at which it was stated that there is a high degree of cooperation between Serbia and this international organisation.
On that occasion, it was agreed to find a way to further improve mutual cooperation.
Brnabic thanked Raisi for Interpol's principled position regarding the membership of the so-called Kosovo in this organisation, and emphasised that such potential moves would only be used for political disputes, and that it is a very significant fact that Interpol did not allow this to happen.
The interlocutors agreed that two key areas that should be discussed in the future are the fight against cybercrime and financial crime.
The Prime Minister said that Serbia is fully ready to cooperate with Interpol in these areas and that she wants them to contribute to the global fight against all forms of crime.
