Speaking to journalists in Dubai, Brnabic stated that the Serbian government was described at this event, which is the biggest of its kind in the world, as one of the most innovative governments due to our supercomputer solution, namely, due to our application of the supercomputer in artificial intelligence.
According to the Prime Minister, there was a total of 1,084 applications for awards, and we were chosen as one of the nine most innovative solutions of all the applications.
The Serbian government is one of the few governments in the world that gave the supercomputer for a free use to science parks, faculties and scientific institutes.
She conveyed that one of the crucial things that could be heard at the 2023 World Government Summit is that technology determines the success of a country, pointing out that we realised that and that we stand on an equal footing with the most advanced countries of the world.
Brnabic also voiced her hope that negotiations on the free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates will be completed in the course of this year, which would be very important to us.
Answering journalists’ questions regarding the continuation of dialogue with Pristina, Brnabic underlined that Serbia is always ready for talks and dialogue, but that the Community of Serb Municipalities must be formed and that this time this is a common stance of Serbia and the Western partners, first and foremost the EU and the USA.
This time I want to thank our partners in the West for insisting on the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities in the way it was signed in 2013 and 2015 and how we discussed it in late 2022, she said.
The Prime Minister also underlined that Serbia signed a stand-by arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), whose value is €2.4 billion, which in part will be used for energy and in part for maintaining stability.
