Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ahmed bin Aqil al-Khateeb.
In the meeting, which covered a number of topics of common interest, Brnabic pointed out that Serbia is ready to develop comprehensive cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
Serbia sees Saudi Arabia as a friendly country and a potentially important partner, with which this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, Brnabic emphasised.
The officials agreed that particularly significant potentials exist in the domain of economic exchange, which will be contributed to by the Memorandum of Understanding signed today between Serbia and Saudi Arabia.
Brnabic and al-Khateeb welcomed the establishment of the Serbian-Saudi business council and pointed out that cooperation between businessmen from Serbia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has great potential.
In this regard, the Prime Minister highlighted the areas of tourism, agriculture, energy, biotechnology and the IT sector.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic and Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memic.
