Simplification of applying for subsidies, with strict control over use of those funds

They discussed the way to register plots on the eAgrar platform, especially the registration of those lands for which subsidies have never been received before.
It was agreed that the Ministry of Agriculture will draft a statement on land cultivation, which will wait for the formation of the new government and be ready for further procedures, more precisely the amendments to the law that are necessary.
Also, the owners of plots on which farmers cultivate the land will be obliged to sign a contract with the farmers, in order to minimize the possibility of abuse.
Brnabic pointed out that both farmers and the state are on a joint task, which is to simplify the application system for subsidies as much as possible on the one hand, while strictly controlling the use of those subsidies on the other hand.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Jelena Tanaskovic.
