Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović organised today a reception for students from Harvard University in the Serbian government building.
At the reception, the students learned about the BIO4 campus, the development trends of artificial intelligence in the Republic of Serbia, as well as positive examples of the startup companies GapApp and Cloud City, which implemented their successful business ideas as part of the project to accelerate innovation and encourage the growth of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia - Catapult.
Begović recalled that she recently visited Harvard University, which is why she is especially glad that the students from this university visited the Republic of Serbia.
The Minister said that the students were informed about what Serbia is doing in science and innovation, how it is developing a new ecosystem that should contribute to both the economic and social development of the Republic of Serbia and the creation of a better future that can face all global challenges.
Harvard University students came to Serbia as part of the Balkan Trek student trip, during which they will also visit Montenegro and Albania in order to get an insight into the political and economic conditions in the Balkans.
