Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić attended today the wreath-laying ceremony at the Jewish Cemetery in Belgrade, as part of the official visit of President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog to Serbia.
At the ceremony, President Herzog laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Jewish Victims of Fascism and paid his respects to the victims.
After the ceremony, President Herzog addressed the attending representatives of the Jewish community and visited the Jewish cemetery.
Minister Đurić welcomed the President of Israel at the Belgrade airport earlier in the day. The first day of the visit was marked by meetings with Serbia's highest officials and meetings focused on the development of relations between Serbia and Israel, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
