Potential for strengthening defence cooperation between Serbia, Greece

The political and security situation in the region and cooperation in the field of defence were discussed at the meeting.
Gašić pointed out that the historical closeness and strong friendship of the two peoples and countries have always been reaffirmed during critical moments, particularly in times of difficulty and challenge.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to Greece for supporting Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its European path.
Dendias conveyed his gratitude for the support Serbia provided to Greece during wildfires in the country.
Addressing the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština, he stated that he conveyed the words of the Prime Minister of Greece at the meeting that Greece’s position regarding the so-called Kosovo remains unchanged.
