Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today opened the online Fair of Student Internships in Public Administration 2024/25, titled “Get a Head Start”, at which 141 public administration bodies are offering more than 1,400 internships.
Students will have the opportunity to engage in various fair events featuring distinguished domestic and foreign guests, visit virtual stands and learn more about public administration bodies and their internship opportunities.
In his online address at the fair, which is held via an inclusive platform within the virtualised space of the Palace of Serbia, Vučević emphasised the importance of involving students in the work of the public, state and local administration sectors.
The Prime Minister encouraged as many young people as possible to visit the fair and explore what working in public, state and local administration entails, adding that this event is important because students can apply their knowledge to improve the work of public administration for the benefit of all citizens.
Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Jelena Žarić Kovačević explained that students from the five state universities in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac and Novi Pazar will have access to the platform, allowing them to explore the fair and everything that a career in public administration can offer.
Minister Žarić Kovačević noted that students will not only have internship opportunities in the cities where the universities are located but also in 70 other cities and municipalities across Serbia.
